TEAM PARADE 12PM - WILL BE ON TEAM VILLAGE FIELD. THE PLAYERS WILL SIT AROUND THE INFIELD DIRT ON THE GRASS AREA. ALL OTHER AREAS ARE OPEN FOR CANOPIES.

GAS / PROPANE BBQ'S ARE ALLOWED, NO CHARCOAL

BRING ANY FOOD ITEMS, ICE CHESTS AS YOU WISH

THERE WILL BE A TEAM VILLAGE FIELD FOR TEAMS TO SETUP CANOPIES AND CHAIRS. THE PARADE WILL BE ON THIS FIELD AS WELL.

SOBOBA & USSSA IS ASKING THAT ALL PARTICPANTS PICK UP THEIR OWN TRASH, BAGS WILL BE AVAILBLE. PLEASE RESPECT ALL PROPERTY

HOME RUN DERBY

  • Players will receive 12 pitches. Every pitch counts towards the total number of pitches whether the batter swings or takes the pitch. The player will receive only 12 pitches.

    • Player must provide their own pitcher and the pitcher must be an adult.

    • Pitcher must pitch overhand behind the L-Screen that will be placed on the field. 
    • L-Screen will be placed on field at a safe distance, NO CLOSER THAN 20' FROM HOME PLATE

Each participating player will race in a timed 40-yard sprint to determine the fastest player from each division.

TIMED AROUND THE HORN

Five players (Catcher, 1b, 2b, 3b, ss) from one team will each position themselves to occupy all the three bases and home plate. The activity begins with the ball placed on home plate and the catcher in a squat behind the plate making a throw to second base covered by the second baseman, second making throw to first base, first making throw back to second base now covered by the shortstop, short making the throw to 3rd base, and 3rd making the final throw back to home, the time will be recorded when the catcher catches the ball and touches home plate. Each player must touch their respective bag/plate prior to each throw. The team with the fastest time "around the horn" will win.  A team may attempt a 2nd attempt but the 2nd attempt will be their recorded time no matter the outcome.

    • Least number of pitches to reach home run total

    • Least number of pitches before recording first home run

    • Most pitches before recording first out or take

    • Swing by Swing score comparison

  • Golden Arm

    • Most 5 point throws

    • Least number of throws before scoring a 5 point throw

    • Least number of throws to reach total

    • Throw by throw score comparison

  • Fastest Man

    • Second attempt time

If all tie breakers have been exhausted and there are still ties remaining, a time and location will be scheduled on TBA for the tied athletes to compete again.
